Still, the Portal Gun is a premier travel-item and it shows you’ve completed one of the toughest challenges in all of Terraria - defeated the Moon Lord. Everything else just ignores those colorful portals. It won’t work with enemies or items - it only teleports NPCs and the player. Unfortunately, the Portal Gun isn’t all powerful. Entering one portal sends you through the adjoining portal.
Instead of shooting deadly blasts of energy, the Portal Gun creates portals - one blue, and one orange.
If you know Portal, you already know what the Portal Gun can do. The Portal Gun actually isn’t a new inclusion to Terraria.
